Why can we not interact with the community helpers?
I had a problem with a banned IP address and received several suggestions/replies to the problem. I would have liked to reply to the people trying to help, but can not. I think that this option should be made available as this can both help the person with the problem and also the people trying to help.
I understand that in order to cut costs you do not have a telephone line, but at least we should be able to interact with the people who are trying to help us.

Hi Ilo
I saw your previous post here
https://community.fizz.ca/questions/2500360-ip-address-banned
That post is now closed so no one can add new replies.
If you did not close the post yourself, Whizz (Moderator) will close it after a few days or when they believe a solution has been reached.
In any case, you can make a new post like you did here and ask your question again and/or share with us any new findings you have.8 -

I didn't tag any of the answers as best because they all had valid suggestions, but I did want to reply to some of the questions that were asked in the thread and was frustrated not to be able to. If this works, then problem solved.
I was asked who I had paid money to. It was a site called JustAsk. I was offered the help of a tech person. All he did was make the problem worse. Finally, a lady helped me. At least she knew what she was doing and what she was talking about. Everything was ok until now.
It was suggested I had a virus or malware. I have an excellent anti-virus program so I know that is not the problem. It is not one of those free ones. It is a program that was suggested to me by someone who works with computers. I do use a VPN, but I don't think that is the problem with the site I was banned from because I use them all the time. I did write to them and we are trying to fix the problem.
I don't know if anyone will see this, but if they do, I just want to say thank you for your replies and your efforts and suggestions.7 -
@Ilo
VPN providers will assign an IP address to you, but this IP address can be shared with other users.
If someone with the same IP address as you goes on a website for nefarious activites or unauthorized use, the website can ban this IP addess. Some websites will even ban VPN addresses all together.
To try to resolve your situation, you can get a different IP address through your VPN or try accessing that website without using the VPN. Let us know how it goes.9
