How to increase your community level?

How do you increase your community level? By that I mean how can I become supreme geek? I've been stuck at Apprentice 1/5.

It seems that giving & getting kudos, asking & answering questions does not move my progress at all. I also got some badges and did not progress either.

So what am I missing?

it is a question of time
you will get the first couple of level every ~25 days
after level 3 the others will be unlocked in groups

This are mine steps, therefore questions of times nothing more

Only the gourou are given for the best answers

Gourou 1/5 100 points 20 best answers.
Gourou 2/5, 200 pts with 40 best answers
Gourou 3/5, 500 pts with 80 best answers
Gourou 4/5, 1,000 pts with 200 best answers
Gourou 5/5, 7,000 pts with 500 best answers

There are a few things I do not understand myself. Some points for badges or best answers do not seem to register anywhere.

Does this chart mean that no matter how active you are in the community, you will increase your level only after so many days ?

So is everyone Supreme Geek after a year or so ? Is it just a time issue ? How long you have been with Fizz ?

If you participate at least once a month, you will get all the level in 6-7 months.

If you are not participating Fizz is supposed to reset your counter.

What others are trying to say is that your community level is a combination of your participation and time. With your continued participation, you will level to Apprentice 2 in 17 more days.

If you are interested in the Fizz rewards, you can pay more attention to your account level. Those are the levels that matter to obtain your rewards. Your continued participation in the community is a way to help you level up your account quicker.
