Hi Mircea
That speed should be more than sufficient. You can still try restarting your modem to see if there is any improvement.
What is the source of your livestream? You may have to contact them for help or use an alternate source.
Also what device(s) are you using? Please test your devices (including TV) to ensure it can support the feed.10 -
Legal or illegal IPTV.. it makes a difference..10

should work fine8

PsykoB, you will have to explain more. Are some IPTV blocked or throttled?
I know there are IPTV services which will work only with the original ISP.8 -
I pay for that IPTV subscription...and i just switch, today from Carrytel to FIZZ.
With Carrytel streaming 4k channels it was OK...with the same IPTV supplier.
I made that change only because of to many speed drops. Not stable.
Only 4k channels doesn't works.I know 100mbps is more than enough.
I know some internet distributors limit bandwidth....i hope Fizz is not one of them.9 -
Mircea, please try unplugging the modem and IPTV for 2 minutes.
After retrying, does it improve?
It also sounds like you may be having some issues with your cable line. For this, you can contact customer support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM every day:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.
3- Open a Fizz help page like this one: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/my-modem-connected-cable-my-connection-keeps-cutting-out-how-do-i-fix
4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.8 -
Paying a subscription for IPTV does not mean it is a legal one.
I agree with PsykoB, it can make a difference.12 -
Hi Mircea. Supposing that you test speed and have 100mbps. I have a lot more speed and still freezing. In my case is computer.Check in task manager if CPU is more than 30-40%, sometimes this is a cause. Also, you may restart the router and PC, sometimes it help too.11

I know everyone will say Fizz does not throttle, but that is incorrect. I have been having a lot of problems streaming from a plex server over the internet. I restarted router/modem and that didn't do much. I had read someone suspecting throttling and he said that a VPN would solve the issue.
Guess what, I connected to a vpn and all issues went away. Maybe you can try that on your end and confirm if it does resolve it for you.0
