Can your router be connected to the phone line

I'm planning on switching to fizz as my internet provider, but I also need it to able to connect to a phone line using cable router. Instead of a typical standard phone line. Is that possible with this router?

To be sure I understand your question, which cable router are you using now that has this feature?

Are you talking about VOIP phone line offered by Videotron? If so, Fizz does not support this. You will need to keep the Videotron modem in order to use the phone line.

Are you talking about an ATA (analog telephone adapter) device like Obihai? Then yes, the connection is by ethernet cable and it is support by the Fizz modem.
