I am wondering if I can use my sim card in a portable LTE router and add data to that sim?

Hi Francesco,
it seems a similar question https://community.fizz.ca/questions/2495059-can-use-data-mobile-hot-spot
But yes you can use the SIM on the LTE router, the router must be compatible.

All the SIM have a number associated with them, but you can have a SIM with 0 minutes and add data, the biggest plan is with 20Gb11 -
Francesco, I'll second Mike's suggestion. You can use the LTE router like a mobile hotspot or a source of data with a Fizz SIM card.8

You can though if you want to share your mobile data with other devices I suggest an easier option may be to use the Hotspot feature on your smartphone, either the wireless WIFI or USB option.6
