Brazil phone calls?

Hi! I just add a travel plan 60 min phone calls for brazil but i cant call. There is a message in portuguese saying that i cant do any call because its blocked. I tried with 2 differents numbers and its the same. The "operator" that im connected is TIMBRASIL. I am in brazil right now and i want to be able to make phone call. Is it only from Canada to brazil that travel plan?

Please check which add-on you bought. At the moment, Fizz has calling add-ons only for Canada and USA. Fizz does not yet offer calling in other countries like Brazil.

Fizz has Travel add-ons for texting and mobile data. If you bought a mobile data travel add-on, you can use a free VOIP app like TextNow to call home.

If you need help with your account, you can contact customer support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM every day:

1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.
3- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-travelling-outside-my-coverage-zone-what-are-my-roaming-options
4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.

Sorry Vanessa yes the add-in is ok when you are in Quebec to phone to Brazil. You can check if you can buy a brazilian Sim card or if you can have an application to be able to use your phone on wifi like fongo. Have a nice trip!

Sorry Vanessa. Lieux is correct, you bought the international calling add-on (which allows you to call Brazil while you are home within your coverage area).

If you really have no use for this add-on, you may contact Fizz support to see what options you have.

I agree, you bought an add-on to call from Québec to Brazil.
I would also suggest to buy a local Sim card or use a VOIP.

If your phone supports an eSIM, you can buy some data from airalo. I use it when I travel to US, and get 1GB of data for 3$.
