I cannot use data in Toronto

My phone is 'xiaomi redmi note7'.
Yes,I can text.
I have been using this phone with Fizz for several months in Ottawa.
But whenever I went out of Ottawa, I cant use data though these areas are being covered.
I am in toronto waiting for a flight to US.
I added 'Canada+US' option in this period.
