Free phone with subscription ?

Hello,
I heard from friends in Canada, that I can benefit from having w new phone for free if I get my number from Fizz and I pay monthly for the offer that I choose.
I want to have more information about this and about all the procedure.
I'm Lebanese, I'm coming to Canada in January 2021 to study in University of Laval in Quebec City. I need to have a new phone and i want to subscribe with you because my friend told me you have the best offers and help.
So I want to know all the procedure that I should do, to make sure to have everything on my arriving.

Unfortunately there is no free phone at Fizz. Maybe ask your friends where they have seen this.

Caren, as the other users say Fizz does not offer free phones. Be cautious of other companies that do since they may give you the illusion that your phone is 0$ but offer financing options instead where you pay for your phone on your monthly plan.

There are no free cellular phones with Fizz but you will find that you will have the best possible plan for your money.

Definitely you're right, they might give me an illusion for a 0$ phone, but eventually I'm paying more on monthly offers.
