Why am I receiving text from Fizz when my preferred way of communication is email?

My preferred way of communication is email yet I keep receiving text. Is this normal?

    Emy, are you referring to the texts you receive indicating you have a new voicemail or just any general Fizz information sendout? If it's the latter, you may want to contact customer support as this may be a bug in your account. Use the green chat bubble when logging into your profile or Facebook Messenger.

    My prefrence is email, too. The only texts I receive are voicemail notification and data rollover. And yes another one from gov for COVID alert app. I guess these are normal and unchangeable.
