Technical question about rewards and data: does it work on a no-data plan?

Like if I add a 0.5go from my rewards slots, do I get this as data each month? Does it do the rollover thing also?
Or you need to have data in your plan?

Yes, each month you get the data bonus. It does roll over for the next two months. No, you don't need to have data in your plan.
