I am using an iPhone X. Every time I am on a phone call my mobile data speed is limited to 3g for some reason. as soon as I hang up it switches back to LTE. Does anyone have any insight as to why this happens? Is it a problem with my phone or with the Fizz service?

Hi Daniel
It seems that for the duration of your call, you are connecting to 3G network instead of LTE.
The same thing happens with other prepaid providers who usually don't have VoLTE.
On your part, just make sure to have the latest iOS installed.9 -
VOLTE (Voice over LTE) has to be supported by the provider in order to see LTE when making a call, otherwise you will see 3G on your device until you disconnect the call.7

Yup, Fizz cuts cost wherever they can to offer the lowest price, including voice over LTE. Pretty sure every cellphone on the Fizz network switches to 3G during a call.7

Might be normal, mine does it too1
