Hi Raffmel,
if I understand correctly you did not transfer your number, but when you go in the phone configuration you see the old number?
If this is the case, probably your phone did not get the provisioning yet.
When did you activate your account?
What phone do you have?
Did you try to turn off the phone for 2 minutes?
If I did not understood your question, can you give us more info or you can always contact the support.
You can contact Fizz support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM everyday:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activate
3- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.8 -
Hi Raffmei
Do not place too much importance on the number shown on the SIM card info.
What matters is the phone number shown on your Fizz account and that you are receiving all texts and calls to your number.
If it does bother you, you can try your SIM card on another phone to see if the number resets.8 -
I've reset all the network AND the 'downloaded sim card' (whatever that is), nothing happened. When I take the sim card out, the number disappears (duh), but it comes back whenever I put the chip on again.
It annoys me - it's working alright, but having a number that's not the right one, messes with my TOC ¬¬
REsuming, the number was migrated from bell, everything went smooth. THEN I've changed it for an easier number, the system works, but the display in "About > Phone number" is still the same old one. Got it?7 -
Raffles, you must give it some time, when did you changed your number?7

I've changed the number 2 months ago. More Time? :P8

Raffmei,
2 months yes it is enough time.
Please contact the support, since you already reset the network, removed the card and much more

Raffmei, as mentioned in another post, you can contact Fizz support to get your SIM card provisioned to show your current number.
What's important is that your service is properly working.7 -
