Sending SMS in Europe with travel add-on

I have the data Europe travel add on - and it works fine for browsing, using apps, (roaming is on) but the phone won't send out any texts (SMS).... I have a Samsung Galaxy A20, is there anything that I need to do in the settings so that I can send SMS texts? Or is this a known issue?

Peter, I assume the data is only for what works for you presently but do you have any funds in your wallet for the texts and calls?

You need to buy the SMS addon or add money in your Fizz's wallet

Please note that it is currently impossible to make or receive calls while roaming. As soon as a firm date is available, info will be detailed here. In the meantime, you can use data, and send/receive texts when you travel outside Canada and the U.S. To make and receive calls, you can use messaging apps such as WhatsApp or Messenger.
