Koodo not able to port from Fizz

Unfortunately I am needing to leave fizz. I am trying to port my number from Fizz to Koodo but the Koodo is saying my account number isn't valid. I gave them my client ID which seems to be the same as my account number with my phone. I will be reaching out to Fizz support tomorrow but I'm looking for other suggestions.

Sorry to see you go. To get your account number, go to My Plans >> Manage Plan
You will see it right under your phone number.

Instead using the account number, did you try with the IMEI?
Dial *#06# on your phone to get your 15-digit IMEI number.
For the account number, I believe that sometime provider expect a longer account id and you should add zero in the front.12 -
