Transfer Internet Connection from Ex-resident

How can I transfer the internet connection from ex-resident who is my friend to myself?
The support advised that the current one should be canceled and apply for a new, but in that case I will be disconnected for a while untile the new one will be set up.
Is there any other option ?

Hello, if the support say it. The other option is that you keep it like that and your friend transfer you the money every month.

Sadly there is not much option since you can't really order at a different place. We are all users here so what support says is above us

Unfortunately that's the way it works for now. The previous tenant has to cancel the service and return the modem, and only after that a new tenant can subscribe.
Contact the support and explain your situation. Maybe they'll be able to schedule an appointment for your installation while your friend's account is still active.
