Does my internet plan change the following day or not?

Hi Jean-Francois,
try to turn off the modem for 2 minutes
if it does not work, you must contact the support to see if they can do something for you
The rule, want the change to be done the next billing cycle, but I know that they did exceptions
You can contact Fizz support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM everyday:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/i-would-like-to-change-my-fizz-home-internet-plan-how-do-i-do-this
3- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.7 -
One reason why it doesn't change the following day is because Fizz is prepaid.5

Every changes you make is only effective for the next month. This is better this way, you don't have to worry about prorated charges.

No, it is not better when you must wait a month to solve a problem that you have right away. If it is prepaid, it should be possible to post-date the payment on the next invoice.4

This is the same situation for almost all the prepaid providers. I used to work for a TPIA and it was the same. I agree that can be faster5
