The mobile app is awesome to manage and monitor your WAN and LAN.

All major brands top level AC routers are good, Asus has a big selection from good affordable budget routers to top level Gaming ones that are fast with good WIFI range, all depends on what you want and need. Google "Best budget routers", and read the reviews, you'll have a better idea and options to choose from, some models are available on Line like, Newegg Canada, best buy or Amazon.ca.
I've been using ASUS for the last 10 years it never failed me, they also have periodic software updates.
