Am I too late to enter a discount code?

So i selected a plan (60mbs) and realize that 120 would be preferable.
My roommate also provided me with a discount code.
I would like to reschedule the installation to ASAP ( I booked it for the 1st), change my plan and benefit from the discount code.
Do I require cancellation of the appointment, asking to be reimbursed for it and deletion of my current account for this to be possible? Or can this be done under my present account.
Thank you,
Guillaume

Guillaume yes with a new account you will be ok to take the code. But you will not have the same appointment. You will need to wait the next available in the system. If you can wait it’s ok.

    Hi Guillaume,
After you get your new appointment, you can check back daily to check if an earlier appointment has opened up. You will navigate to your appointment and click reschedule to see what else is available. Also, if you have a gmail e-mail address you can put a "." anywhere in the first part of the email address and it will still work with your e-mail. (give it a try!) if you want to use the same e-mail.
    Good luck!

    Hi Guillaume

The referral code must be entered at the same time when you sign-up and pay for your first plan activation on your account. If this was not done, then unfortunately Fizz cannot give you the referral credit.

In your case, since you have not yet started service. It is entirely up to you if you want to cancel and restart the activation using a new account.
If you have already already activated (signed up and paid for) for a plan on your account,

It doesn't matter which speed you choose from the technician's point of view. So you don't need to cancel an appointment if you want to change the plan. You can change your plan as often as you want.
If you already paid for the first month, you cannot use the referral. So you can cancel the subscription, get reimbursement and subscribe again, and this time don't forget to put the referral code.
