    Maybe there is a space before the 2 or after the 1. Make sure of that. If the password is entered correcty, this is a technical error and you should contact the support.

    Sometimes the "Copy-Paste" writes an additional space at the end. Also, some sites are not accepting any referal codes this way because of addons like "Honey".

    Make sure he enters it manually as others pointed out.
