How to get modem to reconnect to the internet?

I went to reset my modem by removing the power from it for 10+ seconds. Afterwards the modem does not want to connect to the internet. I tried a factory reset by holding down the rest pin for more than a minute (still nothing).
The lights of the modem are Power green, downstream blue, and upstream blue. The rest are off, and none are blinking. I haven't had an internet problem before.
