Call-forwarding + voicemail

So, I have a fizz number that is being forward to a Telus number. Currently, the fizz number plan has “voicemail”. What will happen if I cancel “voicemail” from my plan? Will calls go to voicemail on my Telus number? Or will calls just “drop” after several “beeps”?

If you have your number forwarded to a second number, then all calls will go to that second number.
This will not change if you cancel the voicemail of your first number. There are other posts in the forum where customers have already done this.
However note that cancelling Fizz voicemail is considered a plan change and what Mike is saying is that after making such a change, you will pay the current plan price. And this will affect you if you are paying the grandfathered/stabilization price.7

If you have the forward calls go to your telus number.
The call forward is set to Fizz system and not on the phone.
However, if you remove the voicemail, you will pay the actual price.8 -
What price will I pay? I’m just asking about my voicemail. Will voicemail work on Telus, or fizz will prohibit the call going beyond “voicemail”?8

When I was with Rogers my call forwarding would go to my home phone. Then, if we didn’t answer, it would go to our home phone voice mail. You can remove the fizz voicemail if you don’t have any use for it.7
