Im currently trying to set up duckdns so i can remotely access my home network more precisely my virtual machine that contains hass.io (bridged mode).
Setup: my fizz router is setup as a modem, i plugged my own router flashed with OpenWrt.
Problem: No matter how i try to forward port 443 on my route, i cant access my vm from outside my network. The thing is that it works with plex and remoted desktop.. but not 443... Any ideas ? Port 21 seems to be blocked also. I aslo tried to create an inbound rule in windows 10 firewall.. did not worked

Usually providers do not block the https, they will block only http
Can you try to do transfer the incoming port 4443 to your 443
Then you can reach you server with this https://Blackhawk.bla:4443
Personally I will avoid opening the RDP11 -
Have u tried on MacOs?9

I recommend too using the original router firmware for compatibility issues & stability.8

I know Videotron don't block any ports. I believe fizz too. However just change the forwarding port to any other port if you have doubts with 443.
I used port forwarding for so many years but on Linux devices using dydns and noip.
I believe on windows, you need to open these ports on your antivirus or firewall.
Don't forget your vm should have a static lan ip and assign the port number to that ip8 -
No We are sorry for you0

@mike & @george thank you for your quicky reply. It had more to do with the home assistant config than the actual router. But if anyone stumble here and is wondering how i made it work here it is
i used this method https://help.konnected.io/support/solutions/articles/32000023964-set-up-hass-io-with-secure-remote-access-using-duckdns-and-nginx-proxy and still edited the configuration.yaml for duckdns as stated here https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/duckdns/#:~:text=DuckDNS is a free dynamic, your IP updated with DuckDNS.
@mathieu as stated earlier this as nothing to do with the OS nor the fizz router being in modem mode only, theres no compatibility issues & stability.0
