Did anyone else not receive the emergency alert re. the tornado in Ottawa this past Sunday? I thought Fizz fixed this problem!

I think it’s a decision made by region. So the alert was maybe not declared in your region

The alert you got was the Emergency response like the Amber alerts? Or do you have a specific app that notifies you of other alerts?

It was an emergency alert on aug 2nd for the tornado in the Ottawa region. Sitting in the same room, friends phones were blaring with the alert and mine was dead silent. This is part of the emergency alert system across Canada. https://www.alertready.ca/ I’ve received it once before (so phone is capable) but it’s proving to be spotty with Fizz.

Monique did your phone was on LTE? My Iphone received the last amber Alert when I put it on LTE.
