Upload speed cap at 3Mbps instead of 10Mbps
Hi all,
I have the Internet15 plans which gives me 15Mbps of download and 10Mbps for upload.
For a while now, I've noticed that my upload goes much lower than 10Mbps. It's more around 3. No problem with download.
I'm using direct connection from the router to my computer and this is not a problem when I'm uploading files to my NAS which is also connected via LAN....I've run many speed test from different app/website, all getting the same numbers.
Anyone knows more about this?
Thank you

Did you already try to do a factory reset?
Using a small, sharp object, press the modem’s reset button for 30 seconds.
Once your modem has restarted, follow the same instructions you used when you initially installed it.
Reminder: The default username (Default Wi-Fi network) and password (Default key) for your Wi-Fi network are written on a sticker on the back of your Wi-Fi modem.
If this does not help contact the support in order to check your line.
here's how to contact customer support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM everyday:
1- Connect to your Fizz account (if you have more than one, connect to the one that has the problem) by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/none-my-devices-can-access-internet-wi-fi-or-using-cable-how-do-i-fix-it
3- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.9 -
Highly irregular. You can try contacting fizz to see what the problem is9

This is strange. Sometimes it depends of the network quality and time. Can you try at a different time? My speed change a bit in different time of the day.
Maybe also you can check with Fizz support is your upload is capped by mistake.9 -
dbergeron,
Have you tried to do a reset of your modem?
Insert a pin for about 35,40 seconds into the reset button located back in the center of your modem and released it after.
Wait 3,4 minutes to see coming back all the lights of your modem.
If your computer is directly connected with an ethernet câble to your modem, you'll see on the screen:
Easy connect.
Types twice the factory password (back from the modem.
Your internet connexion is supposed to be 100% effective and fonctional.
Try to test the speed of your internet connextion.
And reconnect all the devices to your wi-fi network.
I hope, all is working well at this moment.9
