Connecting my existing wifi router without bridge

I read everywhere that I have to disable the Fizz wifi and switch to bridge mode in order to use my existing router.
However I just plugged my existing router to Fizz modem and it's working.
I'm wondering why it's required on Fizz website to switch to bridge mode and turn off fizz wifi to be able to connect the client existing router?

The problem that you have 2 nats, some application they will not like them
Me I telling you what technical you did, I am not here to say that you cannot, I am saying that you can have problèmes. For example, if you are using VoIP service. Or an other service, which needs to initialise a communication with a previous registration. The web/email are not touched by this, since the communication is started from the client.5

You can have problem with the NAT if you do not disable the routing using the bridge mode8

Actually I changed my existing router IP to a different range (192.168.1.1) while the Fizz one is 192.168.0.1.
So any device connected to Fizz router will have an IP 192.168.0.X
while any device connected to my existing router will get an IP in a different range 192.168.1.X
Like that no conflict can happens.8 -
I did it ...and no problem yet..7

I guess it's recommended to minimize bugs. If it worked for you, it doesn't mean that it will work for everyone, eh?2

It's not required. It's only a recommendation from Fizz.
1) It would save energy usage (no routing, no wifi, no dhcp etc ... this will save energy)
2) It will reduce wifi traffic .
I had 2 routers connected running for years without problem ( including VOIP ).2 -
What is bridge? If I knew, I would help lol2
