Can I switch my SIM card from my current iPhone 7+ to an iPhone X or do I need to order a new SIM card?

If it's the same size, the yes it's swappable. You can swap between device at any moment.

You can use the same SIM card on any phone as long as the phone is unlocked and compatible with Fizz network. Your SIM card is not locked to a specific phone.

Both of your iPhones use the same size SIM card. So just turn off both phones, carefully remove the SIM card and slide it in the other iPhone.

It’ll work. Your phones needs to be unlocked but since 2017, all new phones are unlocked in Qc so shouldn’t be a problem.
