Will someone call me to pick up the internet equipment if they cant reach me through interconm?

Kind dumb, but I moved recently, and my name does not show on the intercom at the entrance. There is no way for the fizz crew member to reach on my door, just the entrance of the building. They will call me when they arrive, or they see that they cant enter the building and go away (and now I will be without internet for another 2 weeks or so)?

Let them know the situation. Give them your intercom code. Make sure that they have your apartment number and phone number. Ask that the technician contact you on your appointment day.

Maybe you could just indicate on the intercomm with a post-it next to your appt number : "Call here for the Fizz technician"

It cannot hurt to also post a note near your entrance. Just be sure it can be easily read and cannot be removed by people just passing by.

In my case the technician called me before visiting to make sure i was home!

Some technicians call before their arrival of an installation, some don't.
Just put a note near your entrance before your appointment.
