Changing my next month plan without buying an add-on?

I want to know when is the right time to change my plan, i want more data next month but i don't want an add-on for this month!!! I just need to know the steps for this, thank u!!

You need to change it at least 48 hours before the next billing cycle

You cannot change it in the 48 hours before the renewal all modifications are blocked
