I have subscribed to a fizz home internet and I have made an appointment with a fizz technician for the installation. I need a coax outlet and cable since I don’t have one in my house and I need it for the fizz modem. I chose the myself installation 0$ but I don’t know if I have to pay 30$ for the technician to put a coax outlet and cable. Do I have to pay 30$ for the technician to put a coax outlet and cable or not? Please give me an answer.

Hi sactthegig, you will have to contact the customer Service to make sure either on Facebook messenger (https://facebook.com/fizzca.) or Fizz Website by opening this link https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-manage-appointment-technician-visit-my-service-address and simply scroll down until you see the Green Bubble, Click on it to start your Chat session with the customer service. No, you do not need to pay for it
However, you must contact the support to let them know, in this way they can plan a longer appointement to give the time to install the cable in your home.
You can contact Fizz support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM everyday:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-subscribe-to-fizz-home-internet
3- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.6 -
No, you don't need to pay extra if you didn't choose VIP. The tech will do all the cables setup to the place you want. The only the tech won't do is setting up your modem since you choose to install be yourself.5
