A question about changing my plan.

I left Quebec and came to BC, so I want to change the city of my plan covering. However, I noticed that the price changed, I used to pay 38 dollars monthly after-tax with unlimited phone calls, messages and 8 GB data. But now it says I need 44 dollars before-tax. I wonder why the payment changed, and how can I just change the city my plan covering without actually change the payment. Thanks.

If you add Canada coverage and before you had the Quebec coverage, this is a change in the plan and you will pay the carrent price.
Fizz do not offer numbers outside the province of Quebec or Ottawa area, since you are not suppose to use it for more then 3 consécutif billing cycle using the partner network

Are you visiting BC or planning on moving there?

Fizz is owned by Quebecor, so they share the same cell towers with Videotron. If you are outside of Quebec and Ottawa area, you are considered to be roaming. You can use roaming services while you are travelling or visiting family. However you cannot do it for longer than 3 months.
If you are moving to BC, Fizz recommends that you change to another cell provider.

"can I just change the city my plan covering without actually change the payment" is a good option if you are only staying in BC for a few months, but I don't think it can work if you move is more permanent.

BTW fyi you cannot have a BC phone number with Fizz mobile.
Your phone number must be within the subscription area (Quebec or greater Ottawa area).
