Cannot gift data to my friend who has a data plan?
I have a data plan, and my friend also has a data plan with fizz mobile. Why can't I gift my data to him? He is in the process of increasing his data plan with fizz mobile from 2Gb to 8Gb per month, but I cannot gift him the data now that he has run out of data for this month. Please advise. He has also selected "Full Experience" mode on his profile.

Do you have enough data on your plan to gift him some ? Note that rollover data and bonus cannot be gifted.
I suggest you contact Fizz directly to get it resolved.

What error do you have?
The data that you want to gift is from the current month? You cannot gift bonus or rollover9 -
What kind of data can I gift?
You cannot gift:
An unlimited feature, such as text, minutes or minutes for international calls
Add-Ons
Gifted data (no re-gifting allowed!)
Data that has already been rolled over
How late in my payment cycle can I gift unused data?
If you want to gift unused data at the end of your payment cycle, you can gift it right before your current payment cycle ends. Once this cycle is over, however, the data will roll over — it will no longer be available to send as a gift.8 -

It is true that you can gift only the data from your current month's plan.
Also if your friend has multiple mobile plans on the same account, you will need to gift to the phone number (and not by email address).
Before retrying, you can restart your device and try using the incognito/private mode of your browser.8 -
Hmm, when gifting, are you receiving an error message (SMS or notification on Fizz account)? I got the same exact issue and I communicated with Fizz tech support over chat. They fixed the issue (ok, it took several tickets and a complaint but at least they fixed it for me).6

Please, take note that you can only give the current data of your monthly plan.
Rollover data or gift bonus cannot be given to yours friends.7 -
Hi Xin, you have to make sire it's part of your monthly plan as you cannot transfer roll over date.7

My uncle had a trouble also in seeing his data in his account. He has 8 Gb but only saw his bonus (500Mb). In that case, he couldn't give me any data and has an error message when trying to give me some.

Usually you can give data that you have in your CURRENT month. If it doesn't work, it show you in the top of the page an error message.
