Hi! I have a great idea to share with you some guide how to choose the right speed.
The guide is from FCC & CRTC. The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) is the america enterprise that regulate what is considered an high speed internet for the America and the CRTC too.
Here a guide to determine how many mbps i need for my apps usage:
https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/broadband-speed-guide
And another fcc guide to see if i'm a light, basic,or high user:
https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/household-broadband-guide
I give you the crtc internet speed guide too:
https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/internet/performance.htm
CRTC think 50mbps is the minimum to consider for having a high speed internet : "Are there minimum Internet speeds for Canadians?
We recognize that a well-developed broadband infrastructure is essential for Canadians to participate in the digital economy. That is why we set new targets for Internet speeds. We want all Canadian homes and businesses to have access to broadband Internet speeds of at least 50 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads."
Have a good day!
