Internet service down for anyone else right now?

I currently don't have any internet service right now. Second green light on modem is blinking non stop and can't connect. I imagine this is due to the power outages going on accross quebec.
Anyone else with no internet currently?
Can Fizz support chime in also to confirm that this is happening currently?

There are some electricity problems caused by the wind this can have a repercussions on the cable distribution too.

There was a post just before you from someone that had the same problem. It's probably due to the weather today but if you aren't experiencing power outages then try resetting your modem to see if it helps. Personally I've had no internet issues today but if the problem persists maybe try contacting support via live chat or Facebook messenger.

Yeah me too, internet's down, tried to reboot it 2 times but still not working. My electricity is fine. Can it still be because of the wind?

Exactly. The strong winds did cause some outages. It was restored fast though.

Power went out a few times today but i currently have electricity right now, tried resetting the modem but that didn't work.

Update: I talked with a rep from Fizz and they confirmed that work is being done on the lines/network in my area since 2pm. No ETA on when service will come back.

Hi Alexis,

It is possible that you have electricity at home but your neighborhood control box does not.

To get an idea of the problem, if your neighbors have cable internet, you can ask if theirs is working.

Hope your internet service comes back soon. You can try rebooting your modem.
If you notice downed lines/trees in your area, that's never a good sign.
