Your router is fine, just follow the instructions how to connect your router with supplied Fizz modem/router, Mike already put the URL in his response, or check in FAQ section. Enjoy fizz internet.4 -
Yes you can2

Yes. If you want to take the 120 mb/s plan, make sure your router is gigabyte (wich means is able to support speeds over 100 mb/s over wifi and ethernet) to avoir any bad surprise. With other plan, any router will do the job.1

Hi Patrick,
FYI when you subscribe to home internet, Fizz supplies the Hitron CODA-4680, which is an all-in-one device: both modem and router.
So yes your device will work, but you can opt to use the Fizz combo device.
Your D-LINK DIR-819 supports and surpasses the maximum Fizz internet speed which is 120 Mbps.
As mentioned, some people opt to disable the router function (put modem in bridge mode) and connect with their own router.2 -
Basically, any router can be used with the Fizz modem. You just need to setup as Bridge mode. All the setup instructions come along with the modem.0
