Why Fizz does not allow number transfer to an existing plan?

Why Fizz does not allow number transfer to an existing plan, that is transfer number over an already active plan? The implementation of such a resource does not seem to be a rocket science as many providers have them, including the parent company Videotron. And NO, I am not canceling/unsubscribing to transfer the number I want, because, as an early bird to Fizz, I have beta prices, and of course I don’t want to lose it. I tried and love the company, just want to get my “real” number to it without increasing the price to my plan. So, why!? Also, will this feature ever be available?

Why did you wait over a year to do so?
If you did the change in a new account before April 2019 you did not have this problem.8 -
Did you try contact tech support to see if something could be done8

Hi AM,
Ever since Fizz started, you can request the transfer of your phone number from another provider only at the activation time. Will this change in the future? Anything is possible, but so far it has worked this way since Fizz's beginning (for about 18 months).
It is really up to you to decide. Your choices include:
1. Give up the old number and continue using the Fizz number (you can also change your number to a new Fizz one).
2. Keep your old number and decide which service you will use (new Fizz plan or something else).8 -
I've no idea why...4
