Is there a way to see not only the daily total but each time the data is used like other providers' supply?

You can install an app to do a follow up9 -
Unfortunately, it's not possible to see data usage with Fizz.
But most of the time you can have it on your phone. Or like Mike suggest, you can use an app.8 -

Which phone are you using?
You can likely check on your phone settings >> mobile data. And you will be able to see data usage for specific periods (even broken down by phone app).7 -
The issue is I have set up an IPAD at my Mothers Covid infested nursing home to be able to have family communicate with her and I can not access the tablet any longer but would like to see the usage to calculate ahead of time who is using up the data and make sure they hang up the facetime connection so it doesn't eat up all the data plan in a day, as my Mother can not hang up herself.6

The only way is to see the total usage on your phone.5 -

As Mike said, you can install an app to track data usage on your phone. These usually work by installing a VPN profile to track usage.4

Unfortunately I can not enter the Nursing home due to the virus, so there is no way to install any app or even to retrieve any info off the ipad at this point so I guess I am out of luck in seeing any individual data events

Jeff my heart goes out to you. Hope your mother is doing well. I'm grateful every day both my parents in their 80s are still able to live in their own home especially during this scary time for the elderly.2
