Is is possible to have 2 different internet provider in the same house ?

At this time i have a wifi with tnext but i plan on having a fizz internet will there be problem if there is 2 internet provider in the same house ?

You can have 2 different Internet providers in at least 2 situations :
- One is using dsl (like bell) and the other one is using Cable (like videotron)
- Both use Videotron cable technologies ( example : Ebox and Fizz )

Yes it is possible to have 2 internet provider in the same house.

Before Fizz internet was available, I was subscribed with another cable internet company. As per recommendations, I had kept both Fizz and the other company internet active for the first day just to be sure it was working well. I was using the same cable wire so I would attach and use only 1 of the modem at a time.

If you plan to use both internet providers on a permanent basis, I would suggest to install a separate cable line (from the exterior into your home) for each internet provider.

If both IPS use Videotron cable then you need a spliter.
If you already have DSL and you will be adding Fizz (cable) then Fizz will have to run cable into your home.
