I want to improve WiFi coverage using a Apple Airport Extreme, configured in wifi network extension mode.
Some posts I found on this board speaks about the WPS button, pushing it would allow for WiFi extension, but thats not the case, I tested it.
When enabled in the Hidron Fizz router, WPS will allow Wireless clients to pair with the router ONLY during the flashing circle light happening during a couple minutes after a button push.
When WPS is disabled ( the default setting ) Wireless clients can pair anytime. That means my airport extreme should also be able to pair anytime, it can pair but somehow it is denied permission to extend the network as it reports.
Anyone can help here ?

Hi Yannick,
I googled a bit and found this... Not sure if it is still up to date, it is dated in 2015...
"The Apple AirPort base stations CANNOT extend the wireless range of non-Apple wireless routers. ... However, the AirPort Extreme base station can "extend" other non-Apple wireless routers if the connection between them is wired"
