WiFi coax wire broken?

I want to join fizz for home WiFi and I think the modem/router work with the coax wire which is broken at my house. So I was wondering if I selected VIP installation would the person coming to install my home WiFi change it for a new one or repair it. I have already gotten an appointment for Friday but didn’t realize it was with the coax wire before ordering. Thank you?

If the existing wiring is faulty, the tech will repair it or install new wiring regardless of whether you selected VIP or basic installation.

With VIP installation, the tech will actually unpack the modem and hook it up for you.
