How long it takes to get the modem and the service ?

You should be able to get an appointment within 1 to 2 weeks.
You have to sign-up for a plan and then you'll be able to select your appointment day and time.

And if you're a new customer, be sure to sign-up using a referral code. You and the referrer will each earn $25 credit to be applied towards your third bill.

If you mention that you need internet ASAP because of COVID-19 and telework, you might be able to get service faster. I've heard of super quick installation from Videotron when the essential service + work from home requirements were mentioned.
