How to connect modem?
I recently moved to a new apartment, and while the technician from fizz tried to connect the modem, he mentions there is no entrance for the cable from Vidéotron any where in the house. Upon checking, we saw that there was a cable outside but there’s nothing to connect it to anywhere in the apartment. Contacted Vidéotron, and was told to contact fizz. Chat bubble no appearing for me. Any idea how to proceed?

Yes contact the support, since the technicien must install the cable if not present
Try with this instructions, I tried now and I was able to have the chat bubble.
.
- Go to this page https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us, if you are not connect login
- The business hours: every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (EST).
- Wait 5 seconds for the bubble icon to appear at the bottom right of the browser and click on the icon to chat with support. Try a different browser if you have issues getting the bubble to appear.
.
If the chat bubble does not appear, this means that the number of sessions waiting for our answers surpasses our processing capacity. If that happens, send us a private message via Facebook Messenger or Twitter.8 -
Most apartment buildings have the panel in a common area and it has to be unlocked by the superintendant or building management. Contact them and they will probably be able to answer the question. Good luck!7

Micaela,
If the coaxial câble is not install into your apartment, he must do it.
Please contact the Fizz support by chat from 8h00 to 21h00, each day.
First, connect you to your Fizz account.
Then, types this adress:
https://fizz.ca/en/faq/resolving-issues
Wait a few minutes to see the green chat bubble down to the right of the page.
When you see it, click on it.
Your chat session begins with Fizz.8 -
When the technician leave, he must see a signal on the modern. So it's must be operational.6
