I chose Quebec only in my mobile plan coverage. Accidentally I need to travel to Ontario. Can I still make and receive calls during my stay in Ontario as covered by my existing plan? Do I need to pay extra for it?

No,you will not be covered because you need the Canada plan to make and receive call in Ontario and yes you will need to pay extra to buy add on.

You need to buy an addon or put money in your wallet In order to be able to make and receive calls

You need to buy add-on for your calls to receive or make calls (a bloc of minutes, or for text or of data)
Or
You can decide to pay per usage and put money into your wallet while you are in Ontario.

You can add money in you wallet and you will pay as you use.

Adding money in your wallet will cover you for the unexpected but it may be good to change your plan if your inter province travels will be frequent..
