They should be there until you decide to delete them?!11

Usually they are deleted on the server when they cannot be delivered after a certain number of days... All providers do this.11

They will stay there for quite a long time, I wouldn't worry10

Please,
To be sure about the time they kept it

JC,
The sms should stay as long as your fizz acount is still active.8 -
I would expect Fizz servers to retain all unsent SMS on their servers for as long as a user has an active account. There should be guaranteed delivery and sms data is not very big nor costly to store.
But, Fizz (or Vidéotron) ultimately decide how long to persist their unsent SMS

@JC I hear what you say and would expect that any unsent SMS messages would me queued up in some messenging queue and that there would be a minimum of "garanteed delivery" before pruging any queue.
Although, it is possible that system reboots or time based clean-up routines occur and delete any undelivered SMS. But that would be very dissapointing for us customers.

I now have the information. Text messages are kept for 7 days for clients whose phones are either closed or offline. Beyond this period, if they could not be delivered to the client, they are lost.4
