Fizz Router always switches to channel 6
I have several neighbours whose 2.4GHz routers are set up on channel 6 and in our bedroom their routers' signal is as strong as mine thus I cannot stream to our chromecast device.
Through the fizz application I change the channel of my router to a different one (e.g. 9) and after reboot I see in WiFi analyzer app that it actually works on that channel. But next day it gets back to channel 6 while showing in the app that it's on channel 9.
It's super annoying, can you please fix this?
note: I know about 5GHz, but my device I am casting to cannot connect to 5GHz networks

If you are not satisfied with the Fizz modem.
Please, put Fizz modem on bridge mode
and use your own router.5 -
If your device is a laptop you can get a USB 5g Wifi adapter, It might be actually be cheaper than to get an external router if you don't have.4

Have you tried to modify wifi channel using web browser connecting to 192.168.0.1 (user : cusadmin ; password is your wifi password if you've not changed cusadmin ).
I changed my 2.4GHz channel to 9 few months ago and it's still at 9 until today.5
