Do upgrades last forever?

Say I have 1$ off internet for the month, will it last forever as long as I have it active? Or has any of them ever expired?

The are valid for 24 months

Once activated on your plan, you get to enjoy your upgrade each and every month.

Every upgrade is valid for two (2) years starting from the date you receive it (whether you apply it to your plan or not). So, keep an eye out and activate your upgrades as soon as possible to fully take advantage of them.

Oh so after 24 months, what happens? Do you just lose that upgrade and is there a way to earn a new one?
