Roaming options for USA?

Hello. I will be travelling to the USA for a couple of days. Fizz charges 20$ for 1GB of data, which is very expensive, since I paid 5$ for 1GB when I travelled to Cuba.

  • Was considering Roam Mobility (they have plans at 5$ CAD per day for call / text / data), but read horrible reviews on them yesterday especially regarding coverage.
  • Other option was AlwaysOnWireless (they have plans at 3$ US per day for data), but they are fairly new and limited reviews are available.

Does anybody have other suggestions?

Note that I am NOT considering buying a SIM at Walmart since I am only in the US for 3 days.

    Posted same question on Reddit and got this reply:
    --> If you have an esim enabled device, check out Airalo
    As I have an iPhone XR, Airalo would work. I can get 1GB of data valid for 7 days for 3$!

    Hmm yes but I think she wants immediate coverage. The only way to activate it right away is with Travel add-on.
