Google Home Mini Crashing WiFi Network?
Every morning around 3AM, my WiFi network goes down. I read on various forums that it is caused by Google Home or Google Home Mini flooding the network with traffic after waking up. Can Fizz confirm this is a known issue with the Fizz Router? It seems to crash more often if Google Home default speaker is another device such as a soundbar via Bluetooth connection.

We have 2 google home mini's and have never experienced this issue.
However we are using a separate router (ubiquiti edgerouter).
Do you have any kind of scheduled down time enabled?
Try checking the modem/router logs to see what happened at 3am.12 -

Try disabling Google system for a gew nights to see if it's really related.
Otherwise, reset both the router and re-configure the Google system from scratch.
Use the Fizz Wifi app to configure specifics about each device connected to it (down time, scheduling, amount of data allowed).
Lastly, check your Google device if you can reduce traffic from it.7 -
Same here. No problem either and
we're using no other router then the
one built in.
Try factory reset.
Good luck.8 -

For me, my 3 Mini google home works well.

Insert a needle in the center of the back of the modem and push it in for 40 seconds.
Wait somes minutes until all the lights of the modem are on again.

Strange I never had problems, do you have some other devices that can do that?
Did you try to factory reset the modem?7 -
I suggest you to try to factory reset the modem and maybe that will solve the problem.3
