I want to buy Galaxy Watch (46mm, LTE) but they said on the website
LTE connectivity is currently available only on Bell and Telus networks. Contact your wireless carrier for more details.
Does Fizz support LTE connectivity for this smartwatch?
If it does, How long will fizz keep supporting it?

Thanks Mike,
Would you be able to tell me if this uses esim?

Fizz doesnt offer esim. Sorry, if you need this.9
-
It does actually.8

@moustapha, I am pretty sure that the eSim is not offer by Fizz
However if you can show me where you read that fizz offers the esim I will be interested
And watches such iwatch and galaxy must use the esim, to reduce dimensions, complexity and also battery usage11 -
No I was talking about the Watch, it does use esim9

Unfortunately, I don’t think so.You should contact the support to get the best answer .7

It will only work if the watch has a SIM slot that can take a sim card.
Not with esim.
Then you could get a data only plan.
Otherwise, the watch can be tethered via WiFi to hotspot on the phone, plus it will also have connectivity over bluetooth connection to the phone. This would be the most battery friendly way.10 -
Very complex question. Please talk with a representative8

Here are all the Canadian carriers that support eSIM technology: https://mobilesyrup.com/2019/09/06/canadian-carriers-support-esim-technology/8
-
Also under the spec of the link that you posted is stated
Embedded-SIM
Therefore, at the moment not available with Fizz8 -
As the eSIM technology and feature becomes more available, more phones and carriers will adapt it.
In the near future, all phone carriers and new phones will allow for it.
For now, Fizz does not support it.

Fizz should enable the eSIM, it will be easier to activate an account and cheaper7

Great question! Hope eSim will be available in the future!4
