Internet lag spikes
Anyone else experiencing lag spikes and frequent high latency these past couple of days? My internet had been running great all this time but this just recently started happening. Streaming movies or playing games online is nearly impossible now. Any help with this situation would be very appreciated!

Not on my end. But people have been complaining these past few days indeed.
Try rebooting the router after letting it cool down for a 10-15 minutes. It happens to any company.11 -

Try to reboot your modem can help.
Last month, I've been obliged to reset the Modem.
Put a needle press in 40 sec. back in the middle of the modem.
Wait maybe 4,5 minutes when all the lights are on. Your modem is fonctional.
If it doesnt work, you'll need to communicate tomorrow with the chat customer service (8h00 to 21h00).

I have the same issue, i was told to reboot the modem, it helped, but still i'm not getting the speed that i'm supposed to, Tested speed on Macbook, hard wired, directly connected to Modem, no VPN.9

Sometime my router does the same thing, I reboot and everything start to work correctly again10

First thing I do is run a speedtest to see how good or bad it is.
I will restart my modem once a week or so.
It's the holidays, so students are at home and people are off work. All this means more people are using their home internet around you.
Make sure you have sufficient bandwidth included in your internet plan to support everyone in your home. Ask others not to hoard bandwidth if you are maxing out. Upgrade your internet plan if needed.
The same thing applies to your neighborhood. If too many people are maxing out the available bandwidth, you will notice it during peak periods.
