port number on a holiday?

can you port your number and create a new account on a holiday?
i want to get the most out of my plan that expires on the 28th
it retrieves funds on the 27th
so i would need to port no later than the 26th maybe the 25th
will this still go through as it will be a holiday?

    The porting process is automated for the most part. So you can request it at any time.


    You should do it early on the 25th or sooner, to allow a few days in case there is a problem or issue.


    I assume you are porting from another cell provider. Make sure to provide the old account number and your full name exactly as registered with your old provider.
